posty posted:Facebook in my opinion has dramatically lowered the bar for being labelled a friend. Exactly. I have 408 'friends' on Facebook, but I would say maybe 50 of them are people I talk to regularly, and that includes family. The rest of them are people I went to school with, or see at conferences every couple of years. It's not a measure of popularity or anything. And now I feel like I need to go purge, because 408 seems like far too many. To contribute: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/serfbliss/serfbliss-documentary?ref=recently_launched It's not necessarily a bad project, but why not show us some of the 300 hours of footage instead of having your kid narrate some line drawings? Let the material speak for itself!

One of the more amusing aspects of the kid's concept is that he wants to get a garment printer because a heat press flips the breaker in his home. The whole concept of fixing his electrical wiring aside... You *still* need to heat press shirts that were printed on a digital garment printer.

That's like the basic definition of a project that could not be a flexible funding project. Oh but look sure enough it's a flexible funding project. They say if they don't reach their goal they'll bring us the best possible musical online.

Have you ever felt the need to strap ice cubes to your hand? Then this guy's got you covered. In water. Because Ice melts. However, I can see using this to sneak up behind friends and giving 'em the old cold shoulder. So maybe it has some sort of evil utility after all.

The ice mitt doesn't even work on its own, you have to put the ice mitts into a pre-existing ice cube tray, and if the ice mitts don't fit your particular cube tray, well gently caress you buddy. And he wants $10,000 for something athletic trainers fixed ages ago. Pour water into styrofoam cup, let freeze, tear off top part of styrofoam so you can apply ice directly. Cost: about 1/10th of a cent. And he seriously thinks it's a selling point that he says he'll have retarded people assemble his ice mitts. It's not a joke project, holy poo poo.

And yet all of this could be salvaged if the Ice Mitt was shaped like Mitt Romney. What I wouldn't do to melt that man all over my body. But seriously $45 for a small ice mitt? These can't cost more than like a dollar or two to make can they?

For all the poo poo those SkullGirls people got, they at least broke out their insanity so people could decide whether nor not its bullshit. This looks like it would cost $20 to make at most and the rest either going to secure assembly in some Chinese sweat shop or something.
