The 283 would probably do even better with a 200r4 behind it, but...$$. Do the 283 if its just a cruiser. 350s are everywhere and are boring since they are so common. Im kinda biased since I have a 283 but it goes good enough with a decent cam.

Rassokha? Yeah. Well, at least we're working on another blanket cover for it (Chernobyl), but instead of a cheesecloth metal cover that should last 20 years, we're working on one that should last 100. Or, so it is said. Oh, yes, this has been in talks since the Clinton era. Has anything been done? Not really.

Very interesting article in the latest Racecar Engineering about the new Nissan engine for the Deltawing or Zeod or Izod or whatever they call it now. I'll just quote it all cause I enjoyed it all. Pardon the formatting, it came from a PDF. quote:The Nissan ZEOD is all about experimental technology, and the 1.5-litre, three-cylinder And here's a pic of the crank and block. Crank looks like someone glued together PVC pipe and painted it.

Continuing on the theme of previous posts, here are a few b.a. rides. Really showing my age here. I'm bored with lame cars dude. My hero (also a really great shampoo! lolz) unearthly modified Ferarri FXX exotic I drove a crotch rocket quite a bit like this for a summer in Helsinki. I got it from my cousin when I was working for him at Stapex. Those brätkes are death machines. Basically anyone who isn't paying attention to the road&traffic full-time on this gets thrown onto the tarmac [meaning everybody]. I found it seriously irritating that it's a law in Finland that every person have all the gear (helmet/jacket/pants/boots/gloves) when on a motorcycle. There are too many frustrating government safety laws downtown, man...fuss. modded current-gen BMW M3, looks like about fahve hunnert horsepahwer [modern musclecar status]. One of my friends older sisters let me take an Evo8 on a joyride a few times in Tempe (and try his heavy-rear end jacket once.. He's a wierd guy lol). Her Evo didn't have a wing or the sharkfin bits tho, but it did have a gutted cat-alytic converter. The boost on these rides is tremendous. Unreal car to drive. Have to be real careful of potholes tho. I have never maxxed it out [too scary]. Those things probably have around 200-250hp, pretty sick imo. Perfect for hitting up Lifetime Fitness. Toyota Supra in its natural habitat. An absolute beast. Too bad those things are so rare these days. Every once in a while I would see one a dude in highschool/college had [Wayzata High representin]. Heavily modified, I imagine that thing has well over 500hp. You may or may not be real impressed but that thing is bad f-n rear end imo. My personal favorite ride, an e46 beemer M3 with shiney rear end rims. My gc8 Subaru Impreza was strikingly similar to this, except no spoiler/hoodscoop. These cars are a blast to drive, especially if you tend to get bored with most rides. Black paint cracks horribly in the AZ desert, if anyone is curious. Back in my All-Access Tutoring days I had a bunch of problems with this beast. It looks cool, but if the paint isn't waxed, the car -will- overheat hellishly and then its junk. Dark tint/exhaust/headgasket rebuild helps with cooling but the car still f-n bakes in the heat. 'Extra bronze' is a more ideal color for drive-ability in hot places. I got so I just gave up it eventually and just sold the drat thing. Not worth it. Depressing.. ya put every bit of money you have into a car & then have to get rid of it every few years... I did a headgasket, shocks & struts, radiator, heavy-nads sound system, bearing at my friends Performance Muffler shop, & Best Buy alarm system on that ride too. Man that brings me back to see that car. Good times . That thing was my pride & joy in college bruh. I loved that thing more than I loved college girls [that's saying a lot dude ]. Turbocharging this like the STi adds ~20-30 extra hp [it depends on the build]. Lamborghini Race car & driver w/ full track racing uniform. lambos own lol. Here is a f-in nasty 2JZ-GTE engine swapped Toyota Supra in the desert. Actually it is a huge-rear end Toyota Tundra V10 in that Supra. Around when I started FlexTech I used to see that thing.. Man.. A guy that used to live in my neighborhood in Chandler has one and that thing has at -least- 600hp. My dreamcar: Ferarri P45 Pininfarina 'doorman' club car (gigantic pic breaking tables here sry sry). That thing has enough downforce to drag down Jupiter. I saw a dewinged 'Godzilla' [Nissan Skyline GTR] a few times on the highway in Scottsdale. Apparently the old guy who owns it daily drives it, too. I think the thing is b.f-n.a., but it is definitely the worst in terms of gas mileage (literally those things get like 15mpg). I saw a couple other rides like this at a machine shop by ASU in Tempe.. those things are f-n cool rides man. -no- idea how much hp that thing has... anywhere from 300-1100hp is not impossible. Closest I've ever been to the ring is Forza and I twitch the wheel like that when I'm in cars that have more horsepower than their handling can contain (which considering that's the point of Forza, is all of them). Problem is I'm a poo poo performance driver and it usually results in stuffing it into a wall somewhere. If I ever attempted it in real life I'd probably kill myself and everyone in my path.

Rev. Dr. Moses P. Lester posted:I dunno, I'd bet a ZX14 engine would weigh a lot more than 100lb. And I'd bet it's not too reliable with a turbo. No, triples have terrible balance. Even my 900cc daihatsu had a balance shaft; every triumph and the new yamaha/MV triples have balance shafts. My point was that a ZX14 engine+turbo includes a gearbox. The engine of that car does not include a gearbox. Chances are that the engine+gearbox weighs more than a ZX14 powerplant. Reliability is neither here nor there; it's a race car.
