To be fair, that image is in the movie.

For the Pact II poster they literally badly copy pasted this and put it at the top of a staircase for some reason.

God that copy paste job is so bad.

Eh, all the great "twist" movies managed to make it through marketing unscathed (Sixth Sense, The Prestige, Fight Club... Hell, I don't think any reviewers even spoiled The Lego Movie).

Actually, I think the twist is a little more like Remember Me (9/11 kills Robert Pattinson), and they kept that one secret until reviews outed it for the amazing terrible thing it was.

The first one is a poorly written, poorly edited mess of a movie. The second one is really good.

Honestly the only reason I even check those movies out is because Ve Neill and a bunch of Face Off contestants (the good ones) worked on them, and Face Off is the best reality show that you should totally be watching.

Truer words never spoken. I loved the second one from beginning to end and thought it was a pretty monumental job to keep the pacing tight with that storyline.

I didn't know poo poo about these books, for posterity.

Thirding this. I actively disliked the first movie, but thought the second was fantastic. I'm actually looking forward to the last two, though my son says the third book was the worst one.

I've enjoyed both Hunger Games movies so far, a lot of the complaints about the first movie were overblown :goonsay: about the tactical realism of the openly allegorical dystopian sci-fi setting and people claiming to get motion sickness because they did handheld camera work in some scenes.

The first one is still on Netflix, check it out.

It's a horror story told in like the minimum amount of steps with just the bare amount to make it creepy. You get the setup that creates a strong sense of dread througout and not a thing more. I think it's just super effective considering how little it gives you and how short it is. There's just not alot like it.

I liked the full movie but it's like the exact opposite of that and while it was a very well made typical horror film, it was still a very typical horror film.
