At first I thought 'oh it's another cartoon where Thomas has nothing to say whatsoever, so he's resorting to hurr women jokes straight out of the 1980s' but then I noticed they're supposed to be in Scotland (where everyone has a framed painting of Nessie above the fireplace) so I get the feeling this might be a sly 'blame the women' gambit, since women are breaking for the Yes camp in large numbers after the patronising ads didn't work. Also that loving washing machine Cameron would totally wear those pants

The first word in the scientific name is the genus, while the second word refers to the specific species. For the genus to be "Piscenae pisspooris" (never heard of a multi-word genus, but I'm only mostly confident that there isn't one), the scientific name "Weeus eckus" would need to have the genus in its name. This is high-school level biology, he shouldn't have gotten it wrong.
