I just helped out - I did some part sales, some wrench work, helped build the first shop, move stuff, ect. He had to close his doors last year, but ended up getting sucked back into the automotive world and went into business with a friend who was his business mentor towards the end of the original Track One when things got rough. They just recently moved into a new two building complex and have had a ridiculous amount of business. e: That e46 M3 is a SCCA car some customer recently purchased. It's easily the LOUDEST car that has been in the shop so far, including the 800hp Ford GT

PS: You can get the higher class F series with a Cummins if you so desire. For instance the one the new engine for my truck is likely coming from is a 12 valve 6BT5.9 Cummins powered 1999 (yeah, a 12 valve in 99) F700. It has an SAE #2 flywheel housing and an Eaton Fuller FS5205 tranny. IIRC you could get em with C series, L series (in F8000s anyways), DT466s, whatever the gently caress you wanted basically.

Unfortunately, it's someone else's truck at the moment. But I agree that I should build one. Everything looks like big-boy 5ton-grade stuff which makes me poop my pants a little:

ehhhhh, that axle looks like it's only good for about 2.5 tons truck capacity. Might be wrong though. The 5 ton eaton/fuller and rockwell axles have axle tubes 6" square formed from 1/2" steel plate. They weigh... a lot. Not sure what the 2.5s are made from.
