I don't care that he can do it, because he's an elf. I do care that it looks like crap.

So here's the story of this mess, one of the funnier points in wrestling history. It was the 2005 Royal Rumble, where you eliminate wrestlers by throwing them over the top rope. John Cena (ol jortsy) and Batista (speedo-Drax) were the last two competitors. Batista was supposed to win by throwing Cena out, but he legitimately slipped and fell out over the top rope as well, and both hit the floor at the same time. At the time, there was a brand split-- John Cena was on Smackdown, which has the blue refs, and Batista was on Raw, which had the striped refs. They improvised and had each brand call their guy the winner while they tried to figure out what the gently caress to do. Vince spends each major event just off-stage, coaching commentary and instructing the refs during the shows. He wasn't scheduled to be on TV, so he hadn't warmed up or anything. He did his little angry storm out to the ring, ran up, slid in-- and tore one of his quads. So he just sat there staring everybody down trying to look authoritative, and ordered them to restart the match. Eventually, Batista hit some move and threw Cena out, managing to keep his dumb rear end in the ring this time. Vince refused any help getting to the back, and blew his other quad before he made it backstage. It would've been sad if it hadn't been so funny.

Captain Disillusion addresses it in one of his other videos by mentioning how they really showed him by using the same techniques again with the hindsight of what he'd shown, except at a lower video resolution to more easily disguise them. That said, it's still a funny response on their part.
