While I actually like For Your Eyes Only because it's his most serious portrayal of Bond, which is a stretch on seriousness compared to other actors' portrayal of the same character, it still manages to be creepy as all hell on several aspects.

Don't worry, the theater is using a crack so they don't have to put the film in the projector

Movies nowadays don't use film. If I remember right, they use a copy-protected hard disk that store a digital copy of the movie. So I guess you can theoretically "crack" a movie if you can remove the copy protection.

Yup: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Cinema_Package

There are some film copies still made but I believe most bigger theaters are digital only.

One of the little interesting bits of Adi Shankar's Bootleg Universe Bond animatic was the SPECTRE octopus everyone on innocuous conspicuous consumer products like smartphones, meaning they'd given up Extortion for Exploitation, since it pays way better.

Christ these are just so bad. Nothing meshes and everything is unrepresentative of the movie. The colours on the variant are particularly awful.

I know I mock Mondo a lot but surely this is the nadir, finally?

Max Landis already is crazy/insufferable, thankfully as time goes on it becomes more and more obvious that everything good about Chronicle was from the actual director and co-writer and Max just keeps stretching his nepotism to the breaking point by being an rear end in a top hat.
