If I remember right, they use a copy-protected hard disk that store a digital copy of the movie. So I guess you can theoretically "crack" a movie if you can remove the copy protection.

Yup: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Cinema_Package There are some film copies still made but I believe most bigger theaters are digital only.

Love these Korean posters for Xavier Dolan's Mommy: So simple yet really beautiful, imo. And it's nice that they're in 1:1 to match the film's aspect ratio. They had ones in a similar style for Two Days, One Night which really suited it, too
