Well, that was certainly a large care posting that explained a great deal. As to this whole butts and dongs thing, I sent Grimrak a two line message about said topic after a few people mentioned it to me in passing, and since I am usually one of very few online regularly, and not the most diplomatic about things, I passed it on. Also it sorted itself out. It escapes me why people assume anyone actually cares about this. Anyways, since you are here, I will pass along something else that comes up now and then: Your ship guides on the wiki are pretty out of date, any plans to come back to came and update them?

I would, but I'm too incompetent and nobody should ever listen to my advice. And frankly the metagame hasn't changed that much. A good ship build before DR is a good ship build post-DR. If you know how to make a good ship with the vanilla boff skills and such it's pretty easy to figure out what you can and can't slot out to make room for an intel or pilot skill or whatever.

I actually came across it by chance, and never associated said "annoyance" with anyone (outside of Grimrak who is inevitably Grimrak), nor did I regard it as an annoyance, more as a "Why are people strangely latching on to this?". Might I ask who that honeypot was for and what the unrelated stuff was, because it sounds like an interesting/entertaining story? Fair enough, considering that returning now is masochistic at best given that the newest mission "mechanic" is Superman 64 in space.

It's a T5 ship, so you can't claim it on a Romulan. Roms can only claim T1-4 ships of their allied faction, and that's mostly so you can strip the consoles off them for the endgame. I'm pretty sure andorian phasers can be upgraded, but they're kind of lovely mods so I'm not sure why you'd bother.
