Has anyone had a problem where one or more of their classes constantly reverts to 0XP? As far as I can tell I'm not playing on any screwy servers and all my other classes seem fine, but for some reason I went from commando level 2 to level 0. Any experience I gain in matches, even when I make a level (or two if on hard) just vanishes into the ether once I get out of game. Bullet weapons are hitscan when outside zedtime and they slow for dramatic effect during zed time.

I parry once in a while, but most of the time I just smack them around with the Pulverizer's alt-fire, Zwei's stab attack, or Zwei's alt-fire, depending on the enemy and the weapon I have ATM.

Shotgun penetration is a major part of of the support class so those weapons aren't hit scan even in normal time dilation and that's really all there is to it.

The weapons only seem non hitscan in Zed time. With a SCAR I can reliably nail things in the head from across the map without leading.

I'm looking at it and it seems like they might be hitscan with non-hitscan tracers? You can see the tracer moving at non-instant speed here, but it looks like the zombie dies before the shot actually connects. Man they need like a 3rd party map manager for downloading maps or something. The custom server experience isn't very enjoyable when half the time theres a download for that 100-300 meg map that trickles drat slowly.

Is there some way to shut the characters up altogether? I checked minimise battle chatter but now instead of endless yammering they constantly gurgle like their throats are permanently slit whenever they so much as fall of a slightly-too-high ledge. Like, I literally lost 1 HP from a drop and my guy just screamed like he's choking on his own blood. The guy in charge of sound design was either very bad at it or into snuff films.

Last night I found out that if you keep shooting bodies they break down into gibs and the gibs have jigglebone effects or w/e you call it. Between that and the entrails it can turn a tight corridor into a goddamn meat grinder.

Maze section was awesome and got pretty tense. Gives me an idea for a Maze level that you have to get from trader pod to trader pod each wave or you wouldn't have enough time to run the whole thing.

There was a certain sadistic joy when reaching the end and finding out it was a dead end. And then again when realizing Siren screams were clipping through the walls to murder us. EDIT You know we have snow and we have the Volter Manor assets, someone needs to make a Overlook Hotel map.

If I could get the sdk to run on my computer without crashing I'd give it a shot. But I know thing zero about mapping. Also that "Oh poo poo" moment when we got to the dead end was awesome and trying to fight our way put was fun as hell and made that bloated map worth while.
