Emergency confection port.

Idaho Man is trying to steal Florida Man's crown.

quote:

A Subaru station wagon struck a bull on a highway Sunday just north of Council, a town of about 800 people, and Adams County sheriff's deputies responded to the crash. The injured bull began charging emergency responders as they worked to get the driver and passenger out of the car, said Idaho State Police, which is investigating the shooting.

"The bull was very agitated and was aggressive to emergency services, as well as the other cars coming up and down the highway," Adams County Sheriff Ryan Zollman said.

Jack Yantis, the bull's owner, arrived with a rifle just as deputies decided to put down the animal. An altercation ensued, and Yantis and two deputies all fired their weapons, state police said in a statement.

Yantis died at the scene, and one deputy suffered a minor injury. The bull also was shot and killed.

Someone just tweeted a video of Huckabee on a "pheasant hunt" that consisted of an aide letting a bird out of a cage maybe 15 feet away and the Huckster shooting it out of the air within two seconds. It was basically skeet shooting with a living target.

I've heard of this kind of hunt before when Cheney blasted his "friend" in the face but I've never actually seen it done. You have to be a sadistic rear end in a top hat to call that "hunting" when you're basically skipping the whole hunt and just killing a captive bird at point blank range.

Which I guess makes sense when taking Cheney and Huckabee's character into consideration.

http://deadspin.com/mike-huckabee-goes-hunting-1740179479

quote:

What is this behavior? Calling this “hunting” is absurd and baldly incorrect. From that range, with that gun, in those circumstances, Huckabee might just as well have placed the bird’s cage in the center of a helipad and dropped a piano on it. If this is “hunting,” then I was “fishing” when I went to the supermarket yesterday and bought a pound of EZ-peel shrimp. They weren’t cooked! I’m gonna mount one on the wall to memorialize our epic clash.

Listen. I don’t think the pheasant much cares whether this was a particularly sporting way to kill it. My aim here is not to speak for the pheasant, but to remark on the meager and degraded notions of outdoorsy masculinity that would lead a far-right presidential candidate to release a video of this sad, staged, risk-free execution—to bring reporters and photographers along on it in the first place!—rather than hiding all evidence of it from public view out of shame. This is not a demonstration of hunting prowess—Stevie Wonder could have made that kill, for chrissakes—but of mere, bare willingness to fire a gun at a living thing. Get a load of Rambo over here! He didn’t even use a Stinger surface-to-air missile to take down the dumpy game bird practically duct-taped to the end of his gun for him. Sedate Vladimir Putin and maneuver his face onto Mike Huckabee’s stationary fist at high velocity and he will punch the fuckin’ teeth outta that guy.

What the...what

I can't find a single package Comcast offers that's more than $200, and that's their super top tier "if you legit need this you need to consider consuming less media" package that gets you the kitchen sink streamed in HD to 300 TVs while you browse porn at 105mbps

Well it costs $20/month per hd-dvr where I'm at. Combine like five of those with the full tv package and internet and I could see it hitting $350.

It's pretty bad in Florida. DTA boxes are $3/mo, old style non HD cable boxes are $10/mo, HD-DVR boxes are $20/mo, Modem is $10/mo, and a "HD Technology Fee" is another $10 on top of everything else.

1) Coworker needs to learn to think and/or read the fine print and/or the big bolded print where it says right there what they're going to be charging him and whem

2) :vince: So it was $300+ ON TOP OF what he was already paying

It's like $7 a month for the box for me, which is a lot but I didn't get cable or phone which I think would've brought it down. I was actually happy because last time I tried to get a "no, I just want internet plz also is there a cap? asking for a friend" bundling was the only option.
