Now when I get home after a day of work, I'm all coded out and don't feel like doing something I used to like doing in my free time. I still do some spare time programming, but not with the same vigor.

For 20 years students have avoided it because it's "boring" and went with other majors like marketing and medieval history, only to wind up working jobs that are even less fulfilling and more boring to make ends meet.
