When I was working for Blockbuster a lifetime ago, there was an incident where a person came in wanting to rent this film, but both copies were out. She called us racists for a) only having two copies of a film whose total box office was about $1.75, and b) for changing the title because B.A.Ps means "Beautiful African Princesses" not "Black American Princesses". Also, have to love the tagline referencing two other successful films.
