Did you approach Chris about development on Star Citizen at all? Hang a JPEG of the Idris in an art gallery If someone really pushes you on why it's art, call it an absurdest piece, light up a cigarette and state, 'Videogames are art, therefore, you just don't understand art development' They're not called assets for no reason

fuzzknot posted:NO! Knit and crochet are two different things! Both are ways of stabbing cloth and imprisoning it together what's the big deal, you do the loop de loops the same and the really big stabs where you're like 'Take that you idiot scrap of a bundle' all the same too. I swear, the sewing community is filled with diatribe against people who want to see all kinds of features in our regular family cloth binding sessions, I bought a ball of yarn that, well, in my wife's word's, 'dominates' the living room, but bind-day is important and I invested in an open source pattern sharing group that is enriching my understanding of what it means to be a cloth stabber

Ratpick posted:Hey, what happened with that guy who was going to have to either melt one of his jpegs or pay like $400 dollars for it because some other guy did a chargeback? I'm not sure if we ever got closure on that story. They backed down, likely because we were talking about it, Derek Smart learnt about it. Pushing it would likely have resulted in zero additional money plus a whale and his friend losing faith and maybe losing more money though chargebacks/refunds. I love the idea that it took them ages to figure out what hundreds of people were doing in 2013 by LTI laundering, mind you it's possible it's true as the CIG community staff is all new and gifting/melting/buying with credit to get LTI, regifting was dumb as hell even by normal Star Citizen standards of dumb.
