Zip line working as intended. If you as a kid walked away without a scratch, it was a mediocre zip.

Put water at the end of it and Red Bull will make a festival all about skipping cub scouts like loving stones across an olympic-sized pool of the half-dead and limbless

Is that the zipline that the goon built that is a child murder machine? I've tried looking at that thread before but the dude edited all of his posts. Jesus christ, the angle. How could someone not know that it......... wow.......

Those yellow wires are structural, I think. The actual zips are on the right. They were still pretty bad though.

You know you've built a good zipline when riding it takes you to over half the speed of human terminal velocity. Related: http://i.imgur.com/fOtCsKM.webm

The best part of that whole thing is he could have done less work, building the platform directly on the ground and jutting out from the hill, a little further down the slope, and it would work perfectly with enough slack line running level. Instead, he decided to build THE PAEDOCIDER

How legal is disguising a gun as a toy in the US?
|
# ? Mar 27, 2016 20:57 |

We go the opposite way with it here, where the toys are required to have obvious red markings on the barrel to show that they're not guns. Remember, this is 'Merica. Everything here is a gun unless it specifically indicates otherwise.

A very long time ago when I was a kid, a news crew came to our elementary school to do a piece about the recent change to make toy guns more obviously distinct from the real thing (bright colors / patterns etc). I asked the reporter what about if someone were to paint a real gun like a toy? The reporter assured that this wouldn't happen and I shrugged and went back to playing on the monkey bars. A couple years later I was one ten year-old when I heard a news story about the police confiscating guns that had been mocked up to look like toys.
