I had one in college, it worked very well but was an eyesore because it needed to be on the counter so it could gravity-drain into the sink. This was like 8 years ago so maybe they've gotten better.

Some dont allow them because it makes a huge loving mess if they malfunction.

Just got an inflatable kayak as a gift, but I don't have a good air pump. I have a battery powered air-mattress pump, but I would like to get something that ideally has adapters for ac/dc(car+battery), but I'm not seeing much. There's this one (http://www.amazon.com/Intex-Quick-Fill-Electric-110-120-15-9CFM/dp/B00G7H780U), that has ac+dc/car, and I suppose I could rig a battery pack to it based on the standard connector, but it seems like an all-in-one should exist somewhere for a reasonable amount of money. I'm also not sure this model even has enough PSI to be worth it. I'm also looking for recommendations for a foot or hand pump, since I'd like a non-electronic backup.

I'm looking for a knit blanket to use during the summer. I had one as a kid that was light and had holes in it (on purpose) but I don't know what that is called. Preferably Queen.

I lost the power brick for my external HDD enclosure, is it safe to use one of these as a replacement? For $10 more I can get another enclosure or I can just pop the drive in my tower. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B015PXUHYA/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3NRS42V3WU6A8&coliid=I3IFTI8QX4HGKV&psc=1

OGDanDogg posted:I feel like I should trust you based on your avatar. Any recommendations for powered ones? Any of these are good. Not cheap, though. The Big Blower is what a lot of rafting companies and boat operators use, but it's probably overkill for a ducky. I use the Metro Magic Air on big boats and it actually works really well. It's nice that it has a vacuum function so you can really deflate the boats when you roll them up for winterizing. It's got the 12V plug, but I've got alligator clips on mine to connect to a car battery. That NRS hand pump actually moves quite a bit of air, though. It would be completely sufficient for a ducky. And it will get things better than 15 psi, which is rock fuckin hard on little boats. What kind of boat is it?

I just bought a cheapo foot pump (http://www.amazon.com/Intex-69611E-Bellows-Foot-Pump/dp/B001ANYRGE) to evaluate my needs and experiment with "good enough." I like the idea of being able to deflate as well, since we have some air-mattresses and it's always been helpful for them. I have an old battery powered pump (4 D batteries), but for something I'd take out of the house, I'd like some kind of backup, and for 30 bucks this guy is pretty tempting (http://www.amazon.com/Intex-Quick-Fill-Rechargeable-110-120-21-2CFM/dp/B004N10RPK). Only worry is the PSI isn't listed and I don't want a squishy kayak.

I don't know anything about those particular boats, but you want your hand to sting when you slap most boats. Bigger ones should ring. My paddle board barely even flexes at 15 psi and takes a bit of effort to get the last couple lbs in. The wonder pump won't let you down if you take care of it. Bongwizard (didn't you used to be bunnielab?), same to you. I've seen those bag inflators but never figured they'd be worth it. The wonder pump is pretty small, locks into a Leafield valve well, and is worth the extra size ( which isn't much, they're not big at all).

OK this one should be easy but it's not (for me). I need a super lightweight hoodie, like even t-shirt material would be fine. I just need it to cover some tattoos but it's getting into the 70s here and even what amazon seems to consider "light" is pretty thick for a hoodie. I just need one that is available in US men's M or L and also in blue or dark blue. As is common with dumb old me I'm sure there is some kind of simple search query I haven't tried but since there is no shortage of outerwear available online I'm getting lost in cold layering stuff. Thanks.

Unifi stuff is really great. They do make some extenders, but an extender of any brand will really hurt your network throughput. If you get multiple Unified APs, they will act as one network seamlessly. Power over Ethernet, so you only have to run one cable. It's worth running the cable if you care about things like streaming to Chromecast, Steam in home streaming, or anything that really taxes the network.

I want a canoe that wont break the bank. Think paddling once a week in calm river situations, maybe some light fishing. Maybe enough room for packing equipment if I'm feeling adventurous. Ir will be used by one person most times but space for one more would be nice.
