Blizzard has purposefully infused the game with a bunch of personality and built up a (kind of lovely) mythos behind the characters and settings that the game is built on. But then, after all that poo poo about heroes and family and how spiders don't have emotions, the characters grab their guns and go to work just like they do in TF2.

It's the fighting game thing of making exaggerated characters existing during a broad storyline because your main game mode doesn't really suit itself to telling a story, but having it anyway because otherwise your characters would be generic as all gently caress.

Give D.Va a M2 rocket attack half the strength of 76 that can fire while M1ing. Boom fixed. Pretty ridiculous that her mech would only have machine guns equipped.

Learned the hard way that Lucio's ult increases the charge time on McCree's ult. Had a great shot at 5 guys and then I just stood there like an idiot trying to lock on for 6 seconds before they killed me

This way she'd be able to go in, disrupt small groups, maybe kill a support and gently caress off before her mech got blown up? You could even setup stun > ult???

The biggest help for Zarya to me was to start treating her shields like quicktime events and not like damage prevention. Like at various points in the game you're going to have very short opportunities to Press Shift or E to Gain Massive Damage and you should use them. It just so happens those moments also protect people but if you go in with a mindset of protecting people you're gonna waste it on people who aren't coordinating with you and they're gonna duck around the corner and immediately waste your shield. Also unless they changed it, dropping your barrier on a shielding Reinhardt will prioritize your barrier for damage before his shield, which can help you build up energy stupid fast when pushing payloads. Junkrat isn't a batman villain, Roadhog isn't a shark, Reaper isn't a plague doctor, Tracer isn't a punk, Pharah isn't a gundam, D.Va isn't a bee, Genji isn't arabian, Zenyatta isn't an egyptian bird. I feel like at least half of the costumes in this game are only very loosely thematically tied to their character. Getting hung up on an Indian character having a costume that makes her look like another Indian character is dumb. BARONS CYBER SKULL posted:You already have one! I don't like a lot of legendary skins for similar reasons, in that they don't really have anything to do with the character and feel out of place. That's the way Blizzard designs their cosmetics though, so I'm not getting hung up on it. Symmetra other legendary at least looks nice so she is better off than most.
