Wow, that guy is really paranoid that people are judging him for downloading every mod that removes clothes for female characters. And also probably touting how Senran Kagura is actually an empowering game for women.

I like that mod just because I've always hated Rikku's new digs, like a lot. She had a cool outfit in FFX and it got replaced by a boring bikini and, uhh, super weird ribbon sleeves? Did you just go and willingly seek out terrible comments on nexus mods Why do this to yourself ...I did it too. Why do I do this to myself

Also "layered clothing" has been so popular in east/south-east Asian fashion for the last 15 years that the concept for the mod fits Spira pretty well.

Yeah I think most of the outfits there are good ideas (Putting a tank top under Payne's weird throw shawl just makes her outfit look even loving dumber) but they're not done really well in that mod.

The art isn't good but when you're comparing it to every other western VN it belongs in a museum. Essentially, the Sakura games are successful because they're very cheap to make - hire a middle-tier deviantart artist, pay them pennies because five seconds ago they were on deviantart, don't bother hiring professional writers or composers, no voice actors, then just string together a couple hours worth of passable vanilla porn with the barest excuses for a plot you can find. Release 25 a year, sell them all for 15-30 dollars, and make money because even if they only sell a few hundred copies you're producing so much for so little that you're printing money. I have no idea why someone would buy a copy on steam, though, unless there's a way to re-add the porn.

I'm pretty sure they put up reporning patches for all of them on their patreon, although that still leaves the issue that if you're playing it on Steam then everyone on your friends list can see that you're playing it.

Are there any decent games that actually have porn in them? Like, surely someone must've said "I want this game to be good, but also I want some serious focus on sex and titties (or dicks if they're into that)." Not to be confused with games that just have sex in them.

There are not any straight-up porn games I'm aware of that have secretly excellent gameplay (though I admit I haven't gone looking) but there's near-porn games like Dungeon Travellers 2 where I'd go "this is a good game on its own merits and would probably be better without the constant attempts at weird fanservice."

Kamidori (random youtube video) was quite good as an SRPG. There's basically no porn until halfway in(which can take tens of hours), and then you suddenly get truckloads of it. e: I still had in installed, so here's some screenshots You can see the SRPG gameplay in the video above. Then there's a workshop that you can expand for various effects, mostly improving the shop and alchemy parts  You can set party members to sell items in your shop like in Recettear, send them away to gather items, or include them in your combat party.  There's crafting of all kinds of items, including character equipment, and stuff that's only there to sell for money in your shop  The leveling of the four main characters is like the sphere grid in FFX, only you get a new grid for each armor  You get skills for the SRPG part either from equipping items with those skills, or by directly equipping skills you've unlocked  There's a ton of missions and quests   And an in game encyclopedia  The game has a huge amount of content, and would've worked perfectly well without the porn. I know there are some games that ship with porn simply to sell and then they strip it out later when the thing gets its footing I think that's what fate stay night is
