In WWIII, the Chinese aptly and wisely nuked Louisiana in their first strike. Even they could not tolerate degraded Acadians.

Big Mean Jerk posted:I want to change my vote to the Defiant for best bridge. It's only negative aspect is that your helmsman is blocking the captain's view of the viewscreen. The Defiant's bridge was seriously cramped and also kind of dark and boxy most of the time. The fact that they had trouble fitting the dolly tracks in at first and couldn't shoot from a lot of angles really didn't help either. Baka-nin posted:No the two things were completely different. In Voyager they just said the actor was a super advanced hologram (even though we see him drink and eat on Voyager) the DS9 thing was a weird sort of holographic frame the actor stood in. He wasn't a hologram, that was just a projection.

My fanfic theory is that an English superman turned the French language/accent into a dead language ala Latin during the eugenics wars. By the 24th century only historical scholars, people seriously into their cultural heritage, and Data speak it fluently.

I like the Excelsior's look since it's clearly related to the Enterprise yet also very clearly not the exact same thing. I think it looks better in near-profile shots tho. It's also a bit more reasonable to see how it looks when you realize the relative scale, as shown in this huge rear end picture:
