I wonder if you could put tiny reaction wheels in a phone that would make it always fall on its back (like a cat, but backwards).

Wasn't the lack of a head phone jack kinda known/rumored months ago? I'm sure I read about it, might have even been on gbs. As a person who occasionally leaves my parents' basement, I use headphones when I run or ride one of my bikes but I'm sure that's not a problem for most goons.

Remember when Apple ran a commercial that compared itself to people fighting big brother and his horde of hypnotized drones? You could air that, splice in Apple press releases over Big Brother, and the you could add much irony.

Android Wear 2.0 is going to have SIM card support so the watches won't necessarily need to be tethered to a phone. Finally real life will catch up to Dick Tracy.

Is everybody supposed to get Bluetooth car stereos now or is it just implied you already have one? I had one that broke and admittedly it was nice but I just threw in a $30 Sony with aux in from the junkyard to replace it.

I have an innate bluetooth connection in my car but also have a fancy touchscreen thingy in my car and I hate it MyFordTouch is glitchy as gently caress and I would have preferred a regular radio with a jury-rigged AUX-to-bluetooth adapter like I had in my last car

Unless an increase in usable lifespan is a desirable and competitive enough feature that it increases your sales enough to counterbalance the lost future sales. In other words, sometimes making an actual quality product is a good and profitable thing. Then again Apple already has enough market share and cultural influence aka guaranteed loyal customers aka suckers that it doesn't have to worry so much about stuff like that. It's weird how to break into a market and gain market share you have to build an excellent product all around for competition's sale but for retaining established market dominance it seems like you have to do the opposite: make whizbang gadgety toys with as short of a lifespan as possible to keep your loyal sucker customers buying as often as possible while the gettin's good.

The best thing to buy is phones aimed at emerging markets since those people don't have $160 to blow on headphones with a non replaceable battery that *will* wear out in 2 years since you are draining the battery every day. My phone in 2016 still has a user replaceable battery, 2 sims and a SD card. God bless your poverty stricken hearts third worlders, you make sure technology remains somewhat useable.
