Things literally couldn't be going any better for Hillary and the Democratic Party and yet because of some nebulous feeling of worry in some peoples fragile minds there are still people here who can't not contemplate things going badly.

I imagine this is fixed by the fact Obama is still President after the election ends, and can get the DHS to investigate this. Trumpers might throw a fit, but if the evidence is there ( and it would be ) there isn't much they can do. Also the fact that 33 states are currently working with the DHS to beef up their security, so.....no.

Just check all of the major news sites. Not s single one has even a sub headline about any wikileaks poo poo. Everything is about Trump going to war with the GOP with a healthy side of how mathematically hosed he is.

There's pretty much no chance Trump wins, but with Trump going full maverick on the GOP I have to wonder what would a Trump presidency with Democrat Congress look like? Besides having a lot of yelling I mean.

The tension is incredible. I hope it will last. I feel like the guns are cocked, the Mexican standoff is happening. But who will fire first? I don't tell me the tepid dismissals this far are the heat. The real fireworks haven't even started yet. It won't even take Clinton or Oppo research to set it off at this point. Just regular political functioning will push it over. I don't think there's any mechanism for either Trump or the Republican leadership to de-escalate at this point (Preibus' "This is fine," notwithstanding).

Wikileaks pretty much has to be shooting their whole load right now, don't they? Even a numbskull like Assange has to realize by now that Trump is on fire and there's no reason to hold anything back, but it doesn't seem like they have much, as I suspected.

Yoshifan823 posted:No matter how happy Hillary will be when she wins in November, it will never match the 3 month long joygasm John Boehner has been feeling. Boehner was saving the '64 Macallan for the October surprise. He knew there was something big. Billy wouldn't shut up about it in Rio, and faint rumors had filtered down to the old Capitol Hill has beens. He had smuggled that bottle out of the office one day when no one was looking, lest he have to declare the scotch as a gift. "Fat chance!" he told himself as he uncorked the bottle, smelling the best Speyside had to offer. He sat down on the couch with a nice amount of scotch in the decanter and two fingers in a low ball. He plucked a spare eye dropper and dipped it into his specially imported Scottish bottled water, taking care to get just one drop of the slightly chilled water before dropping it in the low ball. He picked up the glass and savored the smell. He paused and relished the moment. He picked up the TV remote and hit play at the moment that he had carefully selected. Wolf Blitzer's voice boomed in Boehner's living room, "...in the video taken on the Access Hollywood bus, Donald Trump uses lewd language including the phrase 'Grab em by the pussy'..." "It's going to be a long day," Boehner lamented as he took a slow drag of the Macallan. Good.
