I get what you're saying, but I think the counter-argument there would be that getting a $300 console for one game might be a bit much. Not that I'm saying you shouldn't - Everyone can spend their money how they choose. I can just understand if someone's already hesitant to jump in, a response of "Well, greater than or equal to [ONE] game won't suck" isn't going to change many minds.

i think the switch looks cool and i hope it leads to putting all nintendo games on one console instead of the two or more console system they've been doing for a while that hardware could probably do wonders with a new SMT or pokemon game tbh im gonna buy it day one and enjoy it

The Switch seems like the kind of thing where you might want to wait a bit before buying one just for some initial volume production issues to be worked out. Not like waiting for the new 3ds or ps4k or whatever, but just to make sure there aren't like red rings or structural issues. That being said, if the launch lineup looks good I may well ignore what I just typed.

It seems really unlikely, for a lot of reasons, but it's a great mental image.
