In non bloodletting news, has Ellisson released a statement yet adressing the concern that he would be able to head the DNC with all the attention it needs despite holding office?

No, I think the ball is still presumably in Ellison's court. Lots of people implying that it shouldn't be him without actually using his name. "It needs to be a full time position" is starting to sound pretty dogwhistly to be honest.

Yeah, that's a good argument for why he deserves the job, but he still needs to be able to do it. It's a bit of an oversimplification to say he's just sitting in a special chair, it's coordination and planning of a party that is in its most important and vulnerable point in decades.

Do not misunderstand, this is not me saying he shouldn't be given the job or cannot handle it, there is no-one who would be a better fit - I just would like something from him saying that he understands exactly what the job entails, and that he can and will do it as well as it needs to be done.

Y'know, otherwise known as "her campaign". DUH. God it's like you're a newborn baby who has no idea how political campaigns really work. Its really, really loving sad that expecting people to google "Hillary Clinton issues" or something is too much for people voting for the most powerful person in the world.

Hell, for all intents and purposes Hillary was doing what Obama did. Improving on all his policies and saying that they would continue the successes of the last 8 years.

How do you run on "everything needs to be burned down and changed" when your party has been in the white house for 8 years?

what she should have done is: obama did a good job, but it was not enough. many of obama's promises were sabotaged by an obstructionist GOP-controlled congress, and they have been using this position and power to roll back your voting and labor and civil rights in the states, while enriching themselves. a vote for trump is a vote for tax breaks for the billionaires and expansion of their power over the middle and working class. vote for me and vote for my fellow congresspeople and we will hold the 1% accountable and improve your lives

but no she hosed up and completely failed to turn out the base and all those nice polite suburbans came home to the screaming racist kleptocrat

I'll go to one of those meetings and take a picture like it's hip to be there, like you would everytime you check in a starbucks

but this time, i check into a democrat meeting after getting a chocolate sprinkled frappuccino hashtag woke, hashtag the revolution starts here ;-*

then it's like a free ticket to be allowed to air your grievances for no reason at all because its easier than doing something about it.

(I do hope there is something to be done about it though, I'm gonna have a look into this)

"Hi, I'm Dave and well...[takes a deep sigh] I'm a democrat."

then she underperformed in the 2016 primaries against an old socialist jew from vermont

then she lost the 2016 election to DONALD MOTHER loving TRUMP

how much more evidence do shitheads like fulchrum need to accept that she was the worst goddamn candidate that the democrats have ever run in the history of the party

That's why I take the liberty of printing out all of my internet posts, available for public viewing when my printer works, as well as detailed explanations of all of the in-jokes, the humor informing those jokes, as well as incomplete Photoshop projects that were abandoned for one reason or another (mostly because the joke didn't match the effort I felt I devoted to it).

If they really want to make my posting a matter of debate, I'll ensure my opponent will be just as miserable as I am in discussing it.
