But the hypothetical game would need to focus around it a bit, and you couldn't sperg out on a million different ships that constantly refactor, or you wouldn't have the engineer-hours available to make hulls that would fly correctly. e: Plus you could offload the flight tweaking to the player, saving you dev time. Gimme a call Chris... I am an ideas guy too, and I can sell you a bunch of 'em.

God, that endeavor sale was a year ago. How many years do you think they can go with literally no updates on a ship that they sold for hundreds of dollars, before people start to think maybe they were scammed? I'd say the Banu Merchantman is the current front runner, on sale two years ago and absolutely zero information since then. The caterpillar was sold at the kickstarter but they've at least pretended they're working on it since then.
