The "Morning Joe" co-host said Trump privately told her he is confident that the U.S. can “outlast” any other country.

“Let it be an arms race, we will outmatch them at every pass … and outlast them all,” Brzezinski recounted Trump saying.

Transition officials did not immediately respond to requests to confirm the report.

Funny you should ask, Trump's nuclear war adviser just gave an interview:

Dr. Strangelove: I would not rule out the chance to preserve a nucleus of human specimens. It would be quite easy...heh, heh...at the bottom of ah...some of our deeper mineshafts. Radioactivity would never penetrate a mine some thousands of feet deep, and in a matter of weeks, sufficient improvements in drilling space could easily be provided.
Muffley: How long would you have to stay down there?
Dr. Strangelove: ...I would think that uh, possibly uh...one hundred years...It would not be difficult Mein Fuehrer! Nuclear reactors could, heh...I'm sorry, Mr. President. Nuclear reactors could provide power almost indefinitely. Greenhouses could maintain plant life. Animals could be bred and slaughtered. A quick survey would have to be made of all the available mine sites in the country, but I would guess that dwelling space for several hundred thousands of our people could easily be provided.
Muffley: Well, I, I would hate to have to decide...who stays up and...who goes down.
Dr. Strangelove: Well, that would not be necessary, Mr. President. It could easily be accomplished with a computer. And a computer could be set and programmed to accept factors from youth, health, sexual fertility, intelligence, and a cross-section of necessary skills. Of course, it would be absolutely vital that our top government and military men be included to foster and impart the required principles of leadership and tradition. Naturally, they would breed prodigiously, eh? There would be much time, and little to do. Ha, ha. But ah, with the proper breeding techniques and a ratio of say, ten females to each male, I would guess that they could then work their way back to the present Gross National Product within say, twenty years.
Muffley: Wouldn't this nucleus of survivors be so grief-stricken and anguished that they'd, well, envy the dead and not want to go on living?
Dr. Strangelove: When they go down into the mine, everyone would still be alive. There would be no shocking memories, and the prevailing emotion will be one of nostalgia for those left behind, combined with a spirit of bold curiosity for the adventure ahead! [involuntarily gives the Nazi salute and forces it down with his other hand]Ahhh!
Turgidson: Doctor, you mentioned the ratio of ten women to each man. Now, wouldn't that necessitate the abandonment of the so-called monogamous sexual relationship, I mean, as far as men were concerned?
Dr. Strangelove: Regrettably, yes. But it is, you know, a sacrifice required for the future of the human race. I hasten to add that since each man will be required to do prodigious...service along these lines, the women will have to be selected for their sexual characteristics which will have to be of a highly stimulating nature.

Like Reagan, Trump has inherited a vastly weakened and woefully under-prepared war making apparatus, and this is an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. Force the Russian Federation to spend themselves into economic oblivion, if that is the way they want to play the game, otherwise the Russians can gear back a little and play a much longer game of forging a more solid economic base, and rely less on military buildup. We are going to build up our second-strike capability to such a degree that any attacker will very carefully consider the consequences if their first strike is less than a knockout punch.

Then everyone goes to bed early so our president can start eighty-sixing Zero’s EOs the next day at sunrise.
I’m sick of these self-important, fatuous entertainment prima donnas.

The armed forces has many qualified singers who sing the National Anthem before MLB & NFL games all season long. Surely some of them would be proud to perform at a presidential inauguration. I’m sure the armed forces have bands & musicians who can perform.

Who needs “big names”? I’d rather see big people - Americans proud to serve their country & President Trump.

Cancel all the entertainment. Just have the Marine Corps band play patriotic music.

Fill the air with John Philip Sousa music and let the seditious democrats’ heads explode.

I don’t see why these Rockettes still exist.
The original feature, many years ago, was that they showed some leg.
Now plenty more better porn is free on the internet.

So what are these softcore sluts even FOR in 2016?

This Rockette has no problem spreading her legs for a liberal Democrat either for show or pay. I wonder if she also has a business on the side doing the same?

So you guys are OK with forcing Christian bakeries to bake the homo cakes, but when its your turn to be forced to do something against your beliefs, its Katy bar the door.

So true, so true. They don't have a leg to stand on (or two) in refusing a gig. It's not like Donald Trump is a homo. They wouldn't refuse him in such a situation. If Trump announced he is gay then the courts would force them to dance or go to jail.

Trump doesn't need this bunch of "we don't want to sing or perform at Trump's inauguration" losers.

Just cancel the whole entertainment thing and get down to business.

GOLLOCKS!
From Obama Administration Secretly Worked with Palestinians Crafting Shameful UN Resolution posted by freeper Trump_vs_Evil_Witch

Today, the US abstained from a vote in the UN Security Council on a resolution condemning certain Israeli settlement activities.

If you couldn't tell from the headline, it's a Breitbart article.

God has PROMISED to CURSE those nations that curse His people, the Jews....

Thank God for President Trump, had Hillary been empowered to continue the Muslim-in-Chief's betrayal of America's best friend in the Middle East, America demise would have been ensured. With the election of a President who has respect for the God of the Bible, that chances of the return of prosperity to the United States are improved.

Hopefully, the Islamist swamp in Washington will be drained of Muslim Brotherhood operatives.

Something I don’t understand, and maybe the answer is just too obvious: CLEARLY Obama and his administration hate Israel, at least, and probably Jews in general.
So, how did Rahm Emanuel become the W/H Chief of Staff?
Given he nominally served in the IDF.
Is it just liberal’s penchant for cognitive dissonance?

"Jahannam" is roughly "hell" in Islamic doctrine.

Nothing the UN says can have any significant impact on Israel. The UN has thoroughly discredited itself, including anything having to do with Israel.
Israel will continue to build and thrive.
Obama/Kerry/”Palestinian” terrorists will all go boil in Jahannam.

The countries that are participating in this plot with Obama need to know that Trump takes names and will respond. I would hope there will be unpleasant consequences to these four countries.

I am more concerned with the Islamic money that purchased, and now owns, the U.S. political establishment. Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States are behind that. Get their money out and get rid of the jerks (U.S. Senators...some in Congress too) that became uber-rich from it. Expose the takers. Hillary was one...she exposed herself...get the others.

How did a Vietnam Vet (with questionable service, and a record of traitorous actions), become the Secretary of State?

It's called the Masks of Communism. Pose yourself as patriotic, while all the time intending to do harm to the Republic. Tread the path of Socialism, and work to undermine the Constitution, bring about discord, and ultimately revolution.

Meanwhile, there was exactly one post by someone that suggested that mayyyyybe removing ourselves from the UN Security Council might possibly be a bad thing. I thought it was good to see someone talk some sense. And then they posted this.

There are some games that you can win by not playing—that’s why I homeschool my kids and bypass the public indoctrination programs. It’s why I love how Trump doesn’t play the media’s game and just uses Twitter to go around them.

I’m not convinced removing ourselves from the UN will do anything except enable all these other insane countries to pass even worse resolutions. Looking at Iraq pre-OIF, you can certainly debate whether those resolutions matter one iota from a practical standpoint, but they do lend international legitimacy to tinpot dictators’ complaints against countries much better than their own.
