I googled that warframe cyst thing and its so small and fits with the aesthetics of the cluttered up character designs enough that its basically invisible, how would you even notice it if you were actually focused on gameplay? Legit I played for about 20+ hours before I even noticed it. The 3rd person camera during gameplay hides it completely, and half the time the already razzle-dazzle outfits of all the characters are so flashy you can't even see it.

No, they got rid of most, if not all, of the one hit wonder nuke type attacks and now everything takes more clicks to do. It's not any more balanced, it just takes two or three button presses instead of one. But then they added a dude whose power is that he can split into four dudes with four guns so you get guys with the strongest gun just doing that and killing everything before anyone else can get off a single shot. It's a well designed game. Also one that can inexplicably turn into a tiny fairy and it moves around so fast none of the regular enemies can even hit it, except by accident.
