The Anunnaki overlords were said to have governed by way of a Grand Assembly of nine councillors who sat at Nippur. The nine consisted of eight members (seven males and a female), who held the Rings of divine justice along with their president, Anu, who held the One Ring to bind them all. Not only does this conform with the nine kingdoms of the Volsunga Saga, which cites Odin (Wotan) as the ultimate presidential Ring Lord, but it is also commensurate with the seven archangels of Hebraic record along with their two supervisors, the Lord of the Spirits and the Most High (equivalent to Anu). As the original god kings of Mesopotamia, this Assembly was said to have introduced kingly practice, which according to the Sumerian King List (dating from before 2000 B.C.) was 'lowered from heaven'. “In Ring Lore...[he] who held the Ninth Ring, the One Ring was Lord of the Rings. In ancient times, the One Ring was representative of the overlordship of the Sun, with the other key Eight Rings representing the planetary kingdoms of Earth, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Mercury.

cinci zoo sniper posted:oh yeah randler, the trailer in question, by the way Eh. Given that there is Diablo 3 on consoles, which is apparently really good to play with a controller, I'm not sure that trailer really stirs up enough demand. But they'll probably do okay, due to being F2P.

But they'll probably do okay, due to being F2P. on a flipside, though, it is not a great party game mechanically, so im not sure how that is going to work out for inherently more social consoles. although, we are 1 minor and 1 major content update away from the xbone release, at the very least, so the game can shift cardinally. time will tell.
