Soak it in, folks. It's the last time we're gonna get an Affleck action figure once he drops out of Batman entirely.

But being serious, how realistic is for Affleck to drop out from the DCEU?

Considering the guy who started the rumor led it off with "I have been told things twice before that I've pushed as scoops, and both times it ended up being completely loving wrong", who knows.

But of course it's the internet so it's true until it's proven definitively otherwise.

About as realistic as every other actor who has ever played Batman. The longest run is what, three movies?

This actually looks like it could be pretty good. I like that they're highlighting the humor of the movie, because it could definitely have been a very joyless affair, or worse, something that goes too far in the kid-humor direction. I'm optimistic because I would like a live action Power Rangers movie in TYOOL 2017 to be good.

They all look like they were tweaked just enough to not count as likenesses of the actors. Of course Affleck and Miller are only showing their chins so it's a little harder to do.

I still consider Watchmen to be the only film he's done "well". I also conflate this with being a total fluke because the source material bizarre enough to work in his favor.

Incredibly visceral and overall fantastic.

I keep thinking back to when Kick-rear end was coming out and they were doing that redband trailer to go, "Look, it's a pre-teen girl doing R-rated violence! Isn't that wacky?!" With Laura, it's more that she's a pre-teen girl doing R-rated violence and Jesus loving Christ :stare:

The news about Reeves is surprising because recently an 'insider' said the negotiations have reached a level where they are mostly talking about payment and they apparently have most of the contracted printed already.
