Okay so I just read like the last ten pages of this thread, whew. I've seen a lot of the left leaning people putting out suggestions for how maybe the dems could win more voters and take back some red seats, most of these ideas I will admit I'm sympathetic to. But I want to ask the more center leaning people in as genuinely sincere and noncofrontational way as possible: what is your plan for the dems' comeback? I just see people shooting down ideas saying why they are bad or why they won't work, and I understand the reasoning there even if I don't necessarily agree with it. But—and correct me if I'm wrong and point me to some posts here—what I haven't seen a whole lot of from these more center people is what should actually be done to regrow the party. Like what message do you think the dems should run on in 2018 for instance? What platform do you think will convince more people to turn out? What are some ideas you have on how to win back some states and ideally the house?
