Atletico PR vs Coritiba was supposed to be happening right now. It is not, because the clubs refused to sell the rights to Globo and decided to broadcast the game via YouTube and Facebook. The state federation did not like, came up with a bullshit reason and vetoed the game. http://espn.uol.com.br/noticia/672507_federacao-impede-inicio-de-atletiba-por-causa-de-transmissao-no-youtube-e-revolta-clubes

The only way for us in the US to watch games from Brazil is thru GolTV which is a channel am surprise is still around after it got raided by BeinTV for league rights that wasn't central and south american leagues. I have a streaming service that has the english and spainish feeds of GolTV and they always buffer and even doesn't work at times, anyway time for another weekly Liga MX post of the week. Last week results Puebla 3 - 0 Chiapas Pumas 3 - 3 Tijuana Cruz Azul 0 - 1 Atlas Guadalajara 1 - 0 América (Chivas's first home win against América in 8 years or since 08) León 2 - 2 Santos Laguna Monterrey 1 - 0 Pachuca Morelia 1 - 2 Toluca Necaxa 1 - 4 Querétaro Veracruz 0 - 3 Tigres UANL Round 8 of the 2017 Clausura (all times CST/-6 UTC) Friday, February 24, 2017 9:00 PM Tijuana v Monterrey Saturday, February 25, 2017 5:00 PM Querétaro v Pumas 7:00 PM Atlas v León 7:00 PM Tigres UANL v Morelia 7:06 PM Pachuca v Veracruz 9:00 PM América v Cruz Azul Sunday, February 26, 2017 12:00 PM Toluca v Puebla 5:00 PM Chiapas v Guadalajara 6:00 PM Santos Laguna v Necaxa Current Table

Having a Friday night class makes you miss stuff but here's the weekly Liga MX post of the week. Last week and last night results Chiapas 4 - 3 Guadalajara Santos Laguna 2 - 2 Necaxa Toluca 1 - 3 Puebla América 2 - 0 Cruz Azul Atlas 2 - 0 León Pachuca 1 - 0 Veracruz Querétaro 4 - 3 Pumas Tigres UANL 1 - 1 Morelia Tijuana 2 - 0 Monterrey Tijuana 2 - 3 Pachuca Round 9 of the 2017 Clausura (all times CST/-6 UTC) Saturday, March 4, 2017 5:00 PM Cruz Azul v Chiapas 7:00 PM Monterrey v Querétaro 7:00 PM Morelia v Veracruz 7:06 PM León v América 9:00 PM Necaxa v Atlas 9:06 PM Guadalajara v FC Toluca Sunday, March 5, 2017 12:00 PM Puebla v Tigres UANL 12:00 PM Pumas v Santos Laguna Current Table Oh yeah there's been talk about bringing back the superliga which for those who don't remember was the closest we had to a Copa Sudamericaca/Europa League like competition. I think the MLS won one time but it was mainly another thing for Liga MX to win and gave us alot of MLS vs Liga MX games which one sided as one expected. My Fire made it to the 09 finals but lost to Tigres in a shootout, I always liked it since it was a nice bonus competition to watch. No weekly Liga MX post of the week this week as the officals have decided go on strike after being treated poorly by the playersgoal.com posted:The referee union threatened to strike earlier this week after two separate incidents of violent conduct against officials. Club America defender Pablo Aguilar made contact with referee Fernando Hernandez after America's 1-0 defeat to Tijuana on Wednesday. In the other game, ref Miguel Angel Flores sent off three Toluca players, including Enrique Triverio. The Argentine forward shoved the ref after his initial decision, earning a red card. IIRC you can field players whose rights are owned by a third party in Uruguay. They'll probably own the rights of the player vs the club for some financial fuckery.

You all are missing the more obvious reason. Soccer is one of the easiest ways to launder money. If you control both sides of a player transaction, it is even easier to launder that money.
