I owned two copies of these and each got demolished by a few months of regular outdoor use, they were reasonably comfortable but man the build quality was terrible. I heard they made a remaster tie in for one of the the P3 movies, might be worth a look

I had a pair that were similar to the ones the P3 headphones were based on and they were actually really comfy. The cable died on me after a few months though, which really upset me because by then, they stopped manufacturing that model. The ATH-EQ300s are probably as close as you're gonna get to the old EM7/EM700s these days, but the build quality on those is not nearly as good since those are budget models.

I think I'd appreciate #FE more it it took about half as long to do anything in it. I often felt like it was just wasting my time.

Instead of Press Turn/Extra Turns, your allies get moves that synergize with the type of attack you're using (i.e. axe -> wind. If you use an axe attack, your ally with follow up with a wind attack. If they use a wind attack you won't follow up with an axe attack because you don't have wind -> axe). This has led to moments where i'm thinking tons about what to do next because I can't get a perfect chain or because the follow up I selected targets an enemy drain or something. As with all SMT games, poo poo you can do to enemies can also be done to you so thinning out the herd becomes priority #1. It feels like a step down coming down from P5, but that doesn't mean it's a bad game by any means. It's very good and very fun and I love every second of it. Oh yeah you're gonna be disappointed if you're on team dubs.

It's not a huge issue since p5 is pretty fast already, but I wish there was an animaton speed-up aside from rush, which only affects party animatons anyway.

Another major difference compared to persona is that the main character doesn't have the wild card--he can only cover lightning and sword elements, that's it. It encourages party member swapping all over the place since nobody covers more than two elements.

No you got it. Each turn takes like a full minute by the time you get your whole party together. Everyone does scratch damage so you don't just destroy everything so enjoy ultra long unfun fights. It's a charming game but the combat system sucks rear end

On my second playthrough now and I'm wondering if the Evade weakness skills for allies are even worth it? It seems like 8 or 9 times out of 10 they get hit regardless.

I too had a pair of the Audio Technica headphones they were based on, or at least a very similar model, and they definitely were fairly comfortable and sturdy. Was fairly upset that my own pair vanished when I was transiting an airport a few years back. Think they fell out of my bag when I was rushing for a flight. Anyways, regarding P5, just noticed Futaba has a Catherine figurine on the shelf above her Featherman ones.

With Sukaja up and armor with a decent to okay evade stat, you end up with 70~ evade towards the weak element. With Sukunda up they might be dodge immune to their weak element? I haven't actually tested this.

Yeah, when I went to use one of them during a boss fight, I was about to be really upset that I deleted all my Dekunda and Dekaja skills because I didn't realize they said single target, but thankfully they do hit everyone.

Alright, not necessarily wanting an actual answer here, but I have to have somewhere to put some thoughts down. I just finished Palace 3 - The Bank. I'm going to be putting some speculation here, so it may be something that you don't want to read if you're just where I am. Alright, so in the absolute broadest sense of the word "place", there are only two actual places in the game so far that I am aware of: The Real World and The Metaverse. There are various location WITHIN those places (Leblanc, Bookstore, etc. for Real World and Castle/Museum/Piggy Bank for Metaverse), but everything that we've seen can be placed in either a "Real World" bucket or a "Metaverse" bucket. So my question, which I don't really want answered definitively, is where the gently caress is that casino at the beginning of the game? I was captured there AS Joker, who only appears in the Metaverse, so either there's a police force that is invading the Metaverse (which seems probable judging from the discussions I am seeing the SIU director and the Politician have), or the Metaverse has leaked over into the real world. I think I'm just catching a lot of foreshadowing and asking questions that the game hasn't explicitly brought up yet. I also noticed that (more speculation) Goro was able to hear Morgana at the TV station, so something's fucky there too. i like this game.
