we monitor many frequencies. we listen always. came a voice, out of the babel of tongues, speaking to us. it played us a mighty dub.
nothing you're meant to be doing on that device is going to use more than 4gb ram. if you need more you need an xps13

well that's the thing. it almost looked as a decent piece of hardware to throw the $50 winpro tax on top and use it like a normal machine. but no, the prices + carpet don't justify it over xps or something. lol if you didnt cross out $1k carpeted microsoft chomebook into the abyss of impossible

the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Escape key, configured to i7 2.4GHz/16GB/512GB, comes to $2079, and you don't even need to pay the $50 top-up to unlock non-App Store applications.
$2349 for the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar i7 3.3GHz/16GB/512/GB

lol, so you're going to buy a laptop and install an os that won't get updates and has no official driver support?

or are you going to scour the off-lease market for something made in 2015?

yeah mail situation is lame. i dislike thunderbird and my machine is a bit too bad for outlook use in a way i would like to (+outlook being over-engineered overkill). most freebie clients are weird and/or have visible downsides for me, and lol @ paying for mail client

office 365 owa/outlook.com are both pretty great but they cant do web push notifications (yet) so if u want notifications u gotta have a local client. the mail app is really nice aside from that control c thing.

if you're using an old p3 with 512mb ram i can understand but most systems shouldn't have resource limitations that prevent a browser from running in the background
