I'm just thinking with all of that charge piping does it need an intercooler at all? It's more or less a rear mounted turbo in terms of performance.

That night we performed the rite and opened the gate.
Halfway through, I went to fix us both a coke float.
By the time I got back, he'd gone insane.
Plus, he'd left the gate open and there was evil everywhere.

If it had the later M5 V10 it would be :perfect:

The surface of an intercooler is probably a few dozen times the surface area of a poorly conducting steel pipe, so yes. Even STS, the paragon of rear-mount turbo kits, did some dumb poo poo regarding charge cooling like ceramic coating the compressor outlet pipes, so the heat stays in all the way to the throttle body!

No, but I'm planning on going back to drive their S1 Elise and Renault Sport Spider, so I'll see if I can try the City Turbo and some other Kei cars then.

Still can't get over how quiet electrics are. Something that fast should sound like a god's hammer whacking the bells of doom! It is neat to be able to hear all the other tire and chassis noises, though.

The first thing I noticed when I rode an electric motorcycle was how relatively-loud the zszszszszszszzszsz of the brake rotor slots going by the pads was.

The City is not a Kei car! :eng101: It's slightly too big, for one, and its engine displacement is like nearly double the displacement allowed by the class. I believe it must be a hoot to drive!

'99 then, who gives a poo poo, it was a dumb joke about turbo lag, which is probably all you'd get from that setup.

I'm not surprised. I worked for a guy years ago who had a PP 20B in one of those with a full tube-frame chassis and a Jerico 4-speed. He ran it down to 9.4/144, all motor on pump fuel, and said it got insanely squirrelly past 120mph.

Pretty sure it will never get to the point of rolling over, on account of the tires instantly exploding every time your foot nears the throttle.
