I think that the rise of streaming (both of individuals and of tournaments) is actually lifting up the fighting game genre in a big way.

I was looking through the list of PS2 game for these and was going to say Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie, but then I remember that was actually done by Michel Ancel and was pretty good

Thank you, friends. I'm visiting my brother in July and we're gonna try and record ourselves beating such a game while getting as drunk as possible. I've got a list of twelve games on my person at this point that I'm hoping to grow to twenty so we can roll a die about it. Will share later.

I don't like it but I have to give it credit for fitting twice as much music onto the OST by playing two songs at the same time for every track

Evergrace and Forever Kingdom have really good bad music, like discarded B-sides by The Avalanches or The Books.

Also, I did not realize there was a second Avalanches album. Neat!

Now watch my video on the story (it was a part of my let's play) and I swear it'll make more sense!

edit: Oh, play the DLCs first if you own them because all 3 are very good for different reasons and expand on the gameplay nicely, but if you don't then I wouldn't bother unless you can get them cheap.

I am cartoonishly hopping mad there's an achievement for finishing the game on this difficulty because it means I will never plat one of my favorite games :smith:

edit:

The DLCs feature KURAYAMI mode, which completely removes all light sources from the game except for the protagonist's flashlight (even in broad daylight), which is really cool and much more fair.
