I don't have a problem with how Kyle drives. I have a problem with where and what he drives in.

Peanut President posted:"We need more entertaining drivers, more villains, more guys you can boo!"--teh nascar thread Couple things. 1 - There is a big difference between wanting drivers to have a personality, and being a gigantic crybaby fuckstick. Kyle throws a temper tantrum if the sun isn't emitting his desired level of light. He finished loving second to a guy who put in the work over a 600 mile race and did a great job, especially late, to save the right amount of fuel to win. Kyle wasn't robbed. No one took the race from him, Nascar didn't throw some late bullshit caution, no one wrecked him.. But there he is being the salty bitch he is. Its loving stupid. Its old. Its tiresome. And at this point its time for him to just go the gently caress away. 2 - The second view is completely acceptable as an assessment of him. 3 - And yet he still isn't as bad as Denny Hamlin.

Kyle is crazy talented and his being a petulant shithead is probably a net gain for the sport until he tries to off someone like Hornaday again. We absolutely don't have to like him, but personality is good. The worst thing he does on the whole is his continued assassination of the lower series.

In the big scheme of things, Kyle is a glorified Bobby Labonte with quantity over quality stats-wise.

nascar sees a man with cancer and all they can think to do is cram band-aids down his throat, then apply more when it doesn't work. and also the band-aids are mostly trash.

I think we need to revert to Kidc's original thread title "Eagerly Awating The 2018 Points System".kidcoelacanth posted:nascar sees a man with cancer and all they can think to do is cram band-aids down his throat, then apply more when it doesn't work. and also the band-aids are mostly trash. They take the band-aids off at each appointment and replace them with different band-aids (the same shape, just changing from Band-Aid to Great Value to whatever Target's house brand is). The band-aids are also placed in different positions, or multiple band-aids in the same spots. Sometimes, if they want revolutionary treatments, they grind up Tylenol tablets and rub them on the skin.

Didn't he have an endorsement deal with Puma once upon a time? Needs to start courting Adidas and sell it as a snub to the guys across town, those two companies hate each other on the "gangs of their workers frequently get into street fights" level.

If it's that intense, he's probably blackballed. Also, incoming take: the VHT is probably one of NASCAR's more... I don't know, better ideas? as of late, anyway. More racing lines is good, and if no one uses it and uses the traditional lines, it's really no harm no foul if you ask me.
