Guess I just fell into the trap of assuming UK is like Ireland. Where we just kind of half-heartedly wave the polling card at the old lady at the polling station. Id feel like a knob turning up with nothing though

Anyone minded to commit electoral fraud can just say "no" if asked for ID, so I can't see the point of asking under the current system.

My wife and voted just after 7 (Labour, in a safe as houses Labour seat). There were about two dozen names on the sheet already which I don't remember being the case in 2015.

I live in a Lib Dem/ Tory marginal ( historically Lib, but Tory won in 2915 with 4%) where Labour polled less than UKIP last time (7.8%). Labour haven't even sent out any election leaflets as far as I can tell. I really don't know if I can do the allegedly sensible thing and vote Lib Dem, coz gently caress that shitweasal Farron

Chiming in to give support to our brothers across the pond. I always thought Corbyn got a lovely and unfair rep and it is nice to see a lot of people support him now. It be even nicer if a true Leftist took power and I'm hoping for that.
