no billionaire, no matter how nice you think they are or how much you enjoy the books they wrote, is ever going to help get us to where we need to be. some amount of expropriation is going to have to take place and they will not voluntarily surrender their vast wealth and the power that comes with it.

If Rowling was using her billions to support labor and leftist organizations (and not just cutting the odd check now and then, like really supporting in proportion with her wealth and influence) I'd probably feel different. Rl's interview is very much about reaching out to everyone in your shop floor and community, and not about getting the billionaire wizard lady to lead the revolution. You can't reach her with a class message. She isn't in your class.
