It's incredibly loving stupid to look at the overall numbers but that doesn't stop dummies from doing it all the time. You're doing it wrong!!

As an example ny, Texas, and ca will massively skew those numbers yet they are utterly irrelevant in deciding the election. It's like saying trump did worse than romney. No that's dumb: in the states that mattered, eg Florida and Michigan, Trump blew Romney's numbers out of the water by massive margins. What brought his overall numbers down were ca and ny, but again these states are functionally irrelevant In us elections . In an EC system the overall numbers are meaningless, what matters is where those numbers are.

In Michigan:

2012 Results:
Obama 2,564,569 (54.05%)
Romney 2,115,256 (44.58%)

2016 Results:
Clinton 2,268,839 (47.03%)
Trump 2,279,543 (47.25%)

In Florida:

2012 Results:
Obama 4,237,756 (49.90%)
Romney 4,163,447 (49.03%)

2016 Results:
Clinton
Trump 4,617,886 (48.60%)
Clinton 4,504,975 (47.41%)

I think "Trump blowing Romney's numbers out of the water by massive margins" might be a bit of an overstatement.
In Michigan, Trump got 100,000 more votes than Romney did, and his margin went up by 3%.
In Florida, Trump got substantially more votes than Romney, but since the state is still growing, the percentage of the vote he got actually went down. There were very few states where Trump's numbers or percentages went up over Romney: mostly it was a matter of Clinton's numbers going down.

My understanding is that Mueller himself cannot charge anyone with anything - he can simply compile his findings and then report them to congress, at which point Trump is either exonerated (lol) or Congress has to deal with a respected source putting enormous pressure on them to either impeach or come up with a drat good story for their voters back home.

This is the case for the President and other cabinet officers (ie, Sessions).

Anyone who is not in cabinet position, like Flynn, Donald Trump Junior, Kushner, Manafort, Page, Stone, etc. all get arrested like normal people.

They'll probably also continue to make sure that no poor has more than $20 on them, otherwise it's clearly drug money, and they'll just have to hire a lawyer to prove that it's not.

One is labeled 'Trump leaves office' and is reserved for that occasion, whenever/however it happens. The other is labeled 'Trump dies'.

On the eve of both of these occasions, as I did when Reagan died and as I will when George Bush left office, I will get with some friends, put on some music and write things I detested about each figure on strips of paper. These are assembled into a paper chain that is then burnt as we drink and have a good conversation.

This is why I am not a vegetarian or a recycler. The actions of a certain few in these cases determines everything while the rest of us combined are not statistically significant. Me giving the Toyota corporation $40,000 for a Prius does not save the world, it funnels more wealth upward and makes me a stupid rear end in a top hat and a bad driver.
