Really I'd just like to see them actually use that woodcutter axe or some other cheap two-hander for breaking open crates. They do it in one hit most times and don't scatter the contents to the four winds.

I think I've said something to this effect before, but it'd also be nice to see the gang realize that weapons are meant to be used, not hoarded.

Elixir Syndrome is a major hurdle with this game. Once you manage to accept the transitory nature of weapons a lot of the fun opens up IMO.

I wish she would take a leaf off of Geop's Dark Souls commentators and act more like a guide if needed.

I'm gonna try to talk to her before the next episode we record (Part 104), 'cause... yeah, not sure if it's coming through in my voice, but it's been a bit frustrating to me. I think Ben's been a bit frustrated about it too, I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, I think there's a distinct chance that we may end up landing on exactly 30 episodes to get from the second Divine Beast to the third: Part 102: "Cutting Limbs Off" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIZq_rCSnTA

Oh hey, new videos. Just in case you're still struggling with the firefly sidequest, it does involve the girl in front of the clothes shop. You have to meet her at home during the night (possibly at a specific time). Bring at least 5 fireflies.

Glazius posted:So on a scale from "this" to "there are four separate Yiga ninja clans each dedicated to one of your sheikah powerups", what is the right level of side ninja? There's a part of me that would have loved to see a chunk inspired by games like Saints Row, where there are, say, two combative Yiga factions vying for power, especially now that they know the Princess's Champion is still alive. Depending how you tackle their ranks, it could change how they respond to you in certain scenarios. Between 1 and 4 though, 1 is preferable. Zopotantor posted:Oh hey, new videos. Yup, we did end up figuring that out (with a bit of effort in our brain stems). It wound up not being too bad, the journal just gave us a weird train of thought as to how to go about her mission. So, I want to apologize for how rough August ended up being for Breath of the Wild. There's been a lot of chaos behind the scenes for us lately, between the channel getting a really loud burst of attention, needing to up our game with content leading up to the Sonic Mania launch, vacations and personal stuff. As a result, at the worst possible point (as we were hitting our 100th episode), things just sort of fell apart on us. We fully intend to complete the series, and we've recorded more videos in the hopes of continuing to put out new episodes every weekday starting tomorrow. We have videos recorded out to Part 112, and if I remember correctly, I think we're starting to lean north to get the fourth Divine Beast chunk underway. I know we've been putting out videos at a drastically-reduced rate for the last month or so, but hopefully we will be able to rectify that and return to the pace we started out at way back in March. Thanks for understanding, and especially thanks for watching and commenting in the thread, there's been some truly invaluable advice and direction that has helped us out tremendously in here, we really appreciate it. That said, here are the videos we've put out in this little blip of time, with Part 109 coming tomorrow: Part 103: "Innate Vampirism" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y903rSoX9d4 Part 104: "Gimme Those Boots" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NtVhSfoATg Part 105: "Where the Throat Lives" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JbVax8DsiU Part 106: "I'm Made of Pink Love" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1OpKaR1d4M Part 107: "Polishing the Deities" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9q779-EtAQ Part 108: "Square Carrot Knobs" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QrhOXUe1lf4

I like how this game has all these interesting places with their own history. Like, in the Gerudo Highlands there were the Champion statues, with their own iconography, and now out on this thunder place there's another set of symbols.

At this rate you're never going to unlock the last Great Fairy. You need to stop being afraid of selling stuff. - Sell all the jewels except perhaps the diamond. You can't use them yet anyway. - You can make money selling food, but the price depends on number and quality of ingredients. Cook some of that wolf meat and see what Beedle will give you for it. - There's a character right there in the Rito village that will buy baked apples, the more the better.

One of the things the game doesn't really do well is convey the effective range of bows, which affects how far the arrow goes before it starts to drop. I think Lombardi Jr. there had one of those bows with a pretty long range?

All of the rito family bows (Swallow, Falcon, Great Eagle) have long range, as does the sheikah Phrenic Bow. There may be some others plus the ancient tech one.

Duplex Bow shoots far. It makes the bombing missions of Medoh and Naboris easy since you get two Bomb Arrows for the price of one, one-shotting the areas you need to hit.

I have no idea where those lizards were when you were talking about "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap, but the "ooh whatcha say" song is actually called "Hide and Seek", by Imogen Heap. I remember it because the title has absolutely nothing to do with the one part of it everybody knows, but if you like autotuned close harmony anyway it's an okay way to spend like five minutes. Also, you know you can hit regular chuchu jelly with an elemental weapon and it'll turn into elemental jelly, right? That's kind of what's happening when you hit blue chus with an elemental attack.
