I can create a year's worth of Branco comics in two weeks even with my full time job so it is utterly baffling to me that, to Branco, these actually represent EFFORT. Eight years of Hillary toons, just ready to go, the contract with Infowars already signed. Very frustrating.

The Facebook post was variously described in the media as calling Palestinian children "little snakes" and appearing to justify mass punishment of Palestinians.[

while i'm sure the subtlety is lost on most newspaper readers and possibly also on the cartoonist, I appreciate that he drew the Cadeuceus (symbol of Hermes, the god of merchants and commerce, and the one who escorts the dead to Hades) instead of the Rod of Asklepios (symbol of healing and medicine). In this case, "dog bones" means bones for dogs to chew on (butchers used to give away meat bones for dogs or to make soup/stock with). As for the koshered meat, maybe Popeye just punched the bull so hard it instantly drained all the blood out?

So I guess that's also a can of worms? I dunno.

I sincerely hope at least some cartoonists rip Tommy boy to shreds over this. I lived in his district most of my life. He's been corrupt from the very start. For example his wife worked as a poll manager at precincts where he was on the ballot. Also, the one time I shook his hand, it was sticky. .

Correct me if Im wrong, but shouldnt these cartoons be depicting Heff in hell? I dont know much of the man but he built an empire based on "sin" and supposedly lived the same way. I know showing a dead guy at the pearly gates is par for the course and essentially a cartoonists day off like drawing a sad uncle sam after a tragedy, but it seems a bit seems dense or something like that to me.

Yeah, very few political cartoonists featured in this thread are that actively religious, even the conservative ones. They draw fluffy cloud heavens just as a shorthand for "a famous person died", not out of any genuine belief. Plus, showing someone in hell would probably be seen in very bad taste unless that person was universally reviled. I can't wait for Adam4d to weigh in on it, though.

Yeah, I always figured that's the panel that really upset him. He would never eat blood, it's not Kosher, and he would never put his mouth on the genitals of a Muslim woman. I feel like that panel really stands out as not his views, while the rest are essentially correct.
