I got a '08 Fit. The biggest thing I've had to replace is tires and shocks. You really can fit a poo poo load of stuff in the back and technically you can sleep in the car if it is just you.

Dagen H posted:Calling them lovely suggests otherwise. You do make fair points, though. I meant lovely in terms of the budget, you're not going to find a nice truck for 3k. My brother recently bought a truck because he needed one for work, his budget was 8k. After going with him looking at multiple trucks, he finally settled on a '02 Silverado with 130k miles on it with bald tires. It was the nicest truck he could find within his budget. Then four months after he bought it and put a new set of tires on it, the transmission took a poo poo at the tune of $1200. Truck resale values are ridiculous, and unless you really need one you're making a mistake buying one.

Get the Fiiiiiiiiit. Also echoing the plagues of the V6 automatic Accord. The main problem is the transmission in the 98-02 model is crap and starts to forget how to shift after ~120k miles. This is made worse by the fact the fuel delivery system in the same range (sixth generation) is equally crap and vapour locks when it starts to cool down like nobody's business. There's an entire forum specifically for that generation of Accord and everyone there hates the V6. I miss mine from a driving perspective but I do not miss the myriad problems one bit.

Wtf is there just a whole forum of people shoving as much stuff in their fit as possible? Also Id have to say Denver is pretty average as far as cities go for parking. Better than any real big city anyway. Outside of Cap Hill parking seems pretty easy to find.

Now I just want to stuff random crap into the back of my wagon and take pics. I mean standard driving around stuff for like 6 months was a tool bag, rhyno ramps, 2 boxes of detailing stuff, assorted auto parts, an overnight bag with clothes and an electric impact in its oversized carrying case. And that was with the backseats up and without worrying about how to stack stuff, just chunking it in.

Those shoes look comfy and great for bumming around in so I told my wife I want a pair for Christmas. She said as long as I only wear them around the house (this will not happen but deep down she knows). Also the french dip is the best sandwich. E- Also also I live in Denver and housing is outrageous here. So many people move here that new construction has not paced with demand. It's a great city but have a job or place to stay before moving.
