Sahara is on netflix if you don't mind some stupid action. it's alright. National Treasure holds up really well imo.

But yeah, the movie should really be called special forces vs. ghosts: the movie.

I liked that one well enough, but I’ve admitted before that I’m flat-out retarded with most Army movies because I can’t tell who’s who. Especially during the final battle and they had face masks on. I was like ‘who in the Hell did that ghost cut through?!’

Yo, Series of Unfortunate Events season 2 is up. First episode is as great as I was hoping. I'm gonna wait til I have some weed to watch the rest of it.

Wild Wild Country is great. I'm only on episode 2 so far. I'd only heard of them through an episode of Forensic Files previously. Season 7, episode 8 Bio Attack if you're curious. I won't say what happens since it's a spoiler. It's one of the rare episodes that features forensics used on something that isn't a murder.

It's the best concert film in existence, and I'd highly recommend watching some behind the scenes stuff about it if you can find it.

It's amazing in every way. It's one of those movies where if you've never seen it, you should stop whatever you're doing right now and watch it.

Is that story (the whole thing not just the hotel) well known in Oregon? I can't believe I had never heard any of it prior to watching Wild Wild Country.

It’s interesting. You bring up “salmonella in the Dalles” and nearly everyone here has like a group memory thing and seems to recall it. Beyond that, I don’t think the major history or even the enormity of the community is that well remembered. There is still sometimes the dark red wearing people around. It’s rare thing to see though and who knows how much it means these days.

season one of this show was infuriating to me. I liked parts of it but overall hated being teased so much by lack of plot progression.

If I remember the books right, that shouldn’t be a problem for S2. The last season should have a lot of poo poo hitting the fan.

It's because somehow miraculously nobody was killed in the whole ridiculous situation, even though a few people were very very close to death. Had just a few people died from the salmonella I think the cult would be more widely remembered and brought up in conversations with Heavens Gate, People's Temple, Aum etc.

I’m rewatching Trailer Park Boys now and I think it peaked in Season 4 with Ricky being the park supervisor. There’s still a lot of good stuff after that but that one really seemed to rise above. I’m really not looking forward to that Sebastian Bach season with the model train, ugh.

The Titan: What was the point of getting a bunch of security people killed if she was able to convince him to go anyway?

And she didn't know that would happen. As far as she knew, there was no way to save her husband, and the best course of action was to refuse to participate and they would be forced to euthanize him. But instead she decides to get security people killed for no reason.

Why spend resources on a spaceflight to Titan so one guy could fly around nude and not starting a colony? The project was a failure.
