While watching this I was desperately hoping the .gif would not cut off before the whole bubble was frozen. I don't know what I would have done if it hadn't finished. WE REALLY DODGED A BULLET THERE GUYS

I can't have carbs and I now hate you more than I hate the taliban! Feel good? Knowing that you're worse than the taliban right now? Really, I'm just disappointed.

As a student of science I can say that I've seen hundreds of gifs like this, and have shown little to no emotion. The gifs were just windows to a past I've never lived in, bubbles who I never knew or would ever know. But this gif made me stop and evaluate. Putting cartoon eyes there made me actually look at what is really happening. Putting something that everyone is familiar with in a situation that no one knows, and to make people feel those emotions well, that takes amazing talent. Thank you.

Collateral Damage posted:Is that filmed with a really slow rolling shutter? Probably not. You can create this effect with a displacement effect. You basically have ramp from top to the bottom that will displace the footage a different amount. Pingiivi has a new favorite as of 12:13 on Aug 2, 2018 |

From here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LC96bYsHCbc Slit scan used to be a practical effect, now you can do it with time displacement in After Effects or something similar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhRo2WbWnKU
