While checking out a map that draws extensively from V:tM Bloodlines, I encountered the rare triple Abomination! Fortunately I only had to kill one of them, though I nearly died during the repeated cutscenes...

You only want to upgrade a weapon if your end-game build has an empty weight slot for you to upgrade with. There are exceptions, however. For example, the upgraded grenade launcher is excellent if you want to focus on crowd control over target elimination without completely sacrificing your ability to do so.

The only build I play is stun blast demo with a fully upgraded m79. It's a ton of. I guess I boot up medic sometimes too.

Field Medic can feel really bad with a bad team, but I've been getting some really good groups lately and it's amazing how useful you can feel and how much you can contribute to the group when they're actually able to play defensively and healing them isn't just futile.

Yeah, it's awful to hit someone with eight darts in a row and then they die anyway, how do they have so little self-preservation instinct. On the other hand, hitting someone who is good but out of position with eight darts, having them back up and survive feels awesome.

Also, that perk that heals you for 10% of your health whenever you heal somebody can make you feel goddamned invincible some rounds.

I kind of wish they left the old medic ability to give your team armor. It made me feel super useful and incentivise topping people off. It's super broken on normal but really nice on suicidal and higher.

Sure, Symbiotic Health's free healing is nice, but Resilience makes you basically immortal all the time. You can shrug off enormous hits and never die even when things go really sour, and your own syringe recharges so quickly that you can heal off those reduced damage hits over and over again. Not to mention, it makes your armor last longer based on your current HP too. Being able to wade through any and all threats, even fleshpounds and scrakes, is beyond invaluable. Plus you can solo the entire wave no problem if it comes to that.

So whats the meta now, I haven't played in a while. I am maxed out, prestiging FB and Support. Basically only upgrade pistols for Swat/GS? The MKb. 42 is pretty good, does more damage than the AK but carries less ammo. The FN-FAL however doesn't do anything for the commando that the SCAR doesn't already do. It's cross perked for sharp, but it's basically the same as the EBR which is trash. The new medic gun is nice if you don't have a bugged skin from your medic rifle. It also seems to be bugged at the moment so that if you drop it it fills the grenade launcher back up.

What's the deal with dosh vault crates not showing up? I prestiged my medic class and completed a bunch of challenges but nothing is showing up even after a reboot or two of the game. Is it a timed deal?

I'm having the same problem, no prestige. I earn a stack of dosh and it says crate unlocked but then I get nothing. Have been having the problem for a few months.

Its the jack of all trades master of none class. Its somewhat tank and can heal with nades but not as good as the medic and its damage is okay but other classes do it better.

If you were overgifted vault crates due to a bug or abused the the system to get more than you should have, you won't receive any more until your vault dosh amount catches up to where it says it should be on their servers. You can keep earning, or you can contact support and get them to delete all your vault items and then grant you back the amount of crates you've earned in total. If you really hate what you've got, this mulligan option isn't a bad idea, and it gets your vault working again right away.

RIP Dragon, you were too good for this world. The last time I played was when they had introduced the Patriarch I think? Either way, cross perk weapons are really fun and certainly add variety to playing the same perk throughout an entire game.

From a software perspective, the bug is on them - not the player. If they are going to withhold rewards for legitimate actions that should have granted rewards, then that's just stupid and makes them look bad. TWI, If you don't want to have this problem, don't ship software with bugs.

I have a couple vault items depicted in black and gold in the thumbnail but that appear completely golden ingame, but I have another one that appears as shown. Is there a way to tell which items will be golden and which ones won't?
