I did a comp today. 70kg snatch and 84kg C&J. Getting much better at actually doing the lifts efficiently. Could probably jerk 100 but my clean starts falling apart in the 80s. More importantly, the dude who won best male lifter had a Goku singlet. I kind of need one now.

It also looks like Shaw tore his brachialis during the event. His hamstring definitely hindered his training but he was also traveling a lot filming a tv show with Eddie and training in random gyms, whereas Thor and Martins looked far more serious about their prep. I think he could still be a top competitor for a year or two more but he's probably better off if he continues to branch out into other things.

I can say benching without spotters teaches you self knowledge and control of your body, you learn this is gonna be the last rep even though I think I could do more. My bench maxes were done in a rack with safety bars tho. Haven't benched lately, last go left shoulder betrayed me. Should get back to it.

I'm gonna throw my opinion out there, I dunno about the exact women being discussed but I think a 300-350 lb deadlift is perfectly achievable for most natty women. IIRC their lower body strength is actually close to men's when accounting for body weight.
