I feel like suicidality makes you kinda bad at giving advice on it because you, or at least I, can't convincingly tell people just not to, cos like, I can't even tell myself that, I don't know you, maybe you've got a better reason than me. So I just hope it doesn't come to it. Though that again still contradicts the conventional wisdom that suicide is inherently irrational.

I think one of the biggest things we have as humans is a "why" to live. I remember reading a book by Viktor Frankl, someone who survived the holocaust, saying that "Someone who has a why to live can bear almost any how". That is the biggest question I think we all have to grapple with and I am none too sure of the answers on it.

Just got back from Berlin which is an awesome city and so laid back. Now I feel depressed coming back to this dire shithole. I don't usually get the holiday blues, but man, just coming back into this environment and hearing people talking about mortgages and Brexit on the Piccadilly just made me want to go back to Heathrow.

As a chronic depressive on benefits, the government probably wants me (well, me and all the people in the same position as me) to die because I cost them money. Therefore I have to stay alive as a form of rebellion. I also suffer with anxiety and am afraid of a lot of things, including death and pain. Also, I know my mother would be devastated and I couldn't do that to her. But the other reason is slightly more entertaining
