In other cases, it'd probably be treated just like your actual house is when someone gets arrested - it's just a thing you own that remains yours while you're in jail for your DUI or whatever. The renter stays there, continues to pay rent, etc, same as normal...albeit with a slightly lower chance of actually getting something fixed when you complain to the landlord.
