TLSA 830 in pre-market. I wouldn't buy puts at open yet, but my shallow plan atm is to buy some if it breaks 800 or if the irrational exuberance doesn't show up again by the end of the week.

Well its like shorting anything in this market, particularly with options. Once you get that volatility spike in your favor, you have to start cashing out immediately, regardless of where you think fair value is. PTON march calls implying ~12%ish move for breakeven. Gift. Let's gamble on this POS boys.

To compound this, capitalists always pay workers less than they produce to generate a margin that they can use to pay workers less. As a person who has done consulting, often management knows exactly what to do (and have the plan laid out before we talk to them) to make more money. They just doesn't want to suggest it, and the consulting firms will gleefully take their money to be the bad guy.

While I'm at it, full disclosures before someone loses money on this trade: 1) I think longer term (maybe by Holidays 2020) the stock is a short 2) In my view, the biggest risk going long is that they may announce an early secondary tonight to jump ahead of the lockup expiration 3) That said, I think at worse you have a coinflip situation tonight. I think the bankers did a good enough job keeping near term estimates conservatives fougera fucked around with this message at 19:16 on Feb 5, 2020 |

There's a guy who parks his F150 in the alley behind my office every day and revs his engine while he waits for someone to come out at lunch and at the end of the day. This has been going on for months.

Coincidentally it is almost exactly -30C right now yeah! That's not it though, he does it no matter the temperature. edit: Could be diesel, but by the time you've driven somewhere it's usually fine. You don't drive your truck cold somewhere and then warm it up. edit2: There's another guy who used to visit the house kitty corner to mine until the wee hours of the morning and then idle his diesel for 30-45 mins before he left. That was annoying too because it would keep me up at like 2am, but was just him warming his truck up and probably staying to chat longer than he intended and not like purposefully revving. Anyway, this is all off topic. Er, how about that Tesla. odiv fucked around with this message at 20:34 on Feb 5, 2020 |
