Much of the general public and the corporate world disagree with Trump push for early reopening for what it's worth.

I would just to see how much worse these people would be behaving. Before 9/11, the last thing to happen "on american soil" in most Americans minds was Oklahoma City. They went loving dogshit crazy when their still, reflective pool was disturbed with those buildings droppings.

I’ve had a lot of milk lately.

Since 3/13, I've found toilet paper for sale exactly once, a twelve pack at Aldi that I snapped up. Other than that, absolutely nothing. Starting to think I'm going to have to use the carpet remnants up in the attic,

Also, are self employed people able to apply for unemployment in Ohio yet? It will definitely be sooner than June.

Edit: lol just checked the website "We are creating a new system that people can use to apply for benefits. We expect it to be operational in mid-May. "

I think the first week was the only time I didn't see toilet paper. Sure I'm not finding the institutional packs, but I snagged a 12 pack of Charmin Mega Rolls last weekend.

Yeah I'd never dismiss the possibility of that but consider that it's already hard to prove in court and the odds are against employees in any case like that.

we've effectively backed ourselves into a corner on this and now we are going to flatline our economy and then try to pull a u-turn and force everyone back to work and round two will have a much higher body count

literally the worst case scenario from the standpoints of the economy and human lives lost

we are also not going to leverage it into UBI, M4A or anything else that could have prevented this or saved us from it

im wondering if i should stop paying all my credit debt and loan payments now, or if i should wait until i am unemployed

I've had the best luck finding poo poo tickets at the smaller local grocery store than I have at the big supermarkets. You have 3 choices: Scotts, Store Brand, or Commercial One-Ply in single-roll denominations.

the formal authority lies with state governors still, even the chud Missouri governor came out yesterday and said reopening would be based on medical evidence

Trump can try to pit the crazies against state governments or potentially gently caress with their funding, latter would probably get blown up in court

ive been worried about this. what i'm expecting is all the red states to follow scalia's lead and just not let anyone have pandemic unemployment assistance (no state has implemented it yet) , not allow anyone to quit their retail job to make more money on unemployment, etc,and force eveyrone back to work since they need money

then the blue states will allow all this ,keep stay at home orders, and bankrupt themselves. trump could even have the fed work with red cities/states to have them issue negative interest bonds the fed then buys , and not with blue ones
