Maximum viable size of unbroken pane in front of the pilot chair and the rest is to support that, I guess? Dunno, though. I know the interior set was designed first and then Sternbach fitted the exterior design to the cockpit after it was made, so I guess it came from the set designers. The best Greatest Gen episode is where they reviewed The Visitor, and it was just them making terrible Bill Cosby jokes and convincing themselves they were going to lose all of their listeners over it.

They spent more time explaining how this virus containment system worked than on the energy child. Worf and some security team people were there for the birth. Worf vs a Baby would have been a good fight. Also, Picard has never hung out with puppies? What the gently caress Jean Luc. And this new Doctor is really racist against Data.

They either split up or he died or something. I choose to believe that it turns out she had some sort of kink that made her into the holo-Brahms after she thought about it for a while. Also, no way Lefler was actually into Wesley. She was stringing him along.
